This is a petition to install a path around the perimeter of all or at least some of Coundon Hall Park on Tamworth Road. This is a well used park which provides much needed green space for all ages. It runs alongside Tamworth Road which is a very busy, fast road with a narrow pavement on one side only. Installing a path in Coundon Hall Park would mean that children walking to school as well as anyone else walking down the road could take a safer, less polluted route. <br />
Currently in wet weather or if the grass has not been cut the park is not accessible for pushchairs, wheelchairs, bikes which limits its use. A path through the park would encourage more sustainable transport choices and reduce use of the car thereby reducing congestion and improving air quality.
