I am the neighbour co-ordinator and many residents including myself are objecting to the planned temporary car park, to be situated on the bit of land that is unused at present, for the hospital. It is going cause chaos during construction and use. The residential street nearest to where it is, is narrow at the best of times with cars parked on both sides of it. To add over a 150 more cars using it at peak times is unfair on the residents.The car park would most likely flood lit and have three shifts changing everyday, which means a security guard on site at all times and extra noise,please take this seriously as it is the residents whom will suffer,and with it said to be a temporary car park the fear is that it will also end up as a permanent park.The council can not even get the residents parking right and police it properly as the hospital staff park in the road and cause problems of there own.
