We the undersigned teachers, teaching staff, governors, parents and residents local to Frederick Bird, have serious concerns regarding the safety of the road outside our school.
There have been a significant number of accidents on this stretch of road, vehicles regularly flout the speed limit driving dangerously fast, and the road safety measures implemented to date have failed to address these problems.
We ask that further monitoring is undertaken of both volume and speed of traffic and we would also like additional safety measures implemented to include a raised table with Zebra crossing.
We hope the Council listens to our request and responds immediately.
