There have been too many serious collisions in the precinct area and on Remembrance road in Willenhall. Two of which, have resulted in innocent pedestrians being tragically killed. Not only this, there have been several incidents where pedestrians and other road users have narrowly avoided being struck by a speeding vehicle, which could ultimately have caused serious injury if not death. The most recent collision saw a car leave the road and flip onto its roof as it crashed through the railings outside the co-op in the precinct area, marginally avoiding a lady and her young daughter. This happened while local residents and children were using the precinct area as they normally do, to go about their daily business.
We need to put a stop to people driving along Remembrance road and through the precinct as though it is a race track! We do not want any more tragedies to occur as a result of speeding or careless drivers!.

Sign it to try a make the area safer for everyone, because if something is not done to solve the problem, it could be a friend or relative that is at risk of getting hurt. The more signatures we have, the louder our community voice will be and the more chance we have of getting preventative measures installed to minimise the risk of a serious accident occurring again.
